Terms of Service
Last updated: March 15, 2026
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Friendle, including the Friendle website, application, and related services available at friendle.net and related subdomains, including www.friendle.net.
By using Friendle, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.
1. What Friendle Is
Friendle is a digital business card and icebreaker platform. Users can create a profile, build a front side and a flip side for their card, show or scan QR codes, save contacts, manage contact details, and use optional matching or discovery features.
2. Eligibility
You may use Friendle only if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement and may lawfully use the service under applicable law. If you are using Friendle on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Accounts
You may create a Friendle account by email and password or by using a supported sign-in provider such as Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information reasonably up to date.
4. Google Sign-In
If you use Google Sign-In, you also agree that Friendle may receive limited account information from Google for authentication and account access purposes. Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google’s own terms and policies.
5. Your Content
You may submit, upload, store, or share content through Friendle, including profile text, photos, interests, values, contact details, and related information. You retain responsibility for the content you provide and for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to use and share it.
6. How Sharing Works
Friendle allows you to store multiple contact methods and decide individually what to share with a specific contact. You are responsible for the information you choose to share and for the consequences of sharing it.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Friendle. In particular, you must not:
- use Friendle for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or harmful conduct;
- upload or share content that violates intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
- interfere with the operation, integrity, or security of the service;
- use Friendle to spam, scrape, stalk, or mass-harvest user data; or
- reverse engineer, probe, or exploit the service beyond what is allowed by law.
8. Contacts, Scans, and Discovery
Friendle may show shared topics, connections, saved contacts, and optional nearby or like-minded discovery features. These features are intended to support networking, conversation, and community use. Friendle does not guarantee compatibility, availability, mutual interest, or any particular social or business outcome.
9. User Responsibility
You are responsible for your use of Friendle, your interactions with other users, and your decisions about sharing data, meeting people, or saving contacts. Friendle does not supervise all user behavior and is not responsible for conduct by third parties.
10. Privacy
Your use of Friendle is also governed by the Friendle Privacy Policy, which explains how data is collected, used, stored, and shared.
11. Intellectual Property
Friendle and its service features, branding, design, software, text, graphics, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, distribute, modify, sell, license, or exploit Friendle content or software without permission.
12. Service Availability and Changes
Friendle may change, suspend, improve, limit, or discontinue parts of the service at any time, with or without notice. Features may evolve over time, including authentication, QR, matching, and discovery functions.
13. Termination and Suspension
Friendle may suspend, limit, or terminate access to the service if we reasonably believe that you violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, misused the platform, or where necessary to protect the service, users, or third parties.
You may stop using Friendle at any time.
14. Third-Party Services
Friendle may rely on third-party services, providers, libraries, or sign-in systems. We are not responsible for third-party services themselves, and your use of them may be subject to separate terms or privacy policies.
15. No Warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Friendle is provided on an as is and as available basis. Friendle makes no guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Friendle and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business opportunities, or relationships arising out of or related to your use of the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.
17. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Friendle and its operators from claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of your content, your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of rights of another person or entity, to the extent permitted by law.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the law applicable at the place of operation of Friendle, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Any disputes should first be addressed in good faith by contacting Friendle through the details published on the website.
19. Changes to These Terms
Friendle may update these Terms from time to time. The current version should be made available on the Friendle website together with the effective date. Continued use of Friendle after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
20. Contact
For questions about these Terms, please use the contact details published on friendle.net.
Important note: These Terms are broad, generic operational terms intended to fit Friendle’s current scope and common platform expectations, including Google OAuth review context. They are not a substitute for jurisdiction-specific legal advice.
